then mentioned the fact that the Civil Engineering Department had another use - training students who wished to the U.K. or the ..., for Architectural itruining. He pointed out that as far as he know there was no School of Architecture in the Far East.

Dr. Priestly and others seemed to be of the opinion that this might be something for Hong Kong University to provide. It would attract students from China and the Far East generally.

Final proposals:

Consider the possibility of re-opening with a combined school of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

To provide facilities for training in the United Kingdom for Mechanical and Electrical Enginoers.

United Kingdom to complete their course.
